On the 28th December 2022, Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, the Consul General of India, paid a visit to Tay Nguyen University, Buon Me Thuot City, Dak Lak Province. Consul General and Mr. Le Duc Niem, Vice Rector of University had a good discussion and both have agreed to set up the “Indian corner” at Tay Nguyen University which would provide students with books, computers from India so as to let students gain more knowledge and information about India as well as to promote India within the university. The Vice Rector was also eager and honored to organize an innovation webinar/ conference in the near future as suggestion of Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi for people from both sides to have a chance to interact and gain more knowledge about each other. He expressed his gratitude towards the Consul General for suggesting many possible future cooperation between Tay Nguyen University and universities in India in many subjects and looked forward to working together.
On the same date, a miracle occurred at the Tay Nguyen Regional General Hospital when seven Indian technicians brought joy to the faces of fourteen Vietnamese women and men from Dak Lak Province, Vietnam. A new dawn for them who have received high-quality and durable prosthetic limbs fitted by technicians from Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) sponsored by the Government of India under the philosophy of India for Humanity and "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". The second Jaipur Foot Camp after one in Phu Yen Province, where the first 260 beneficiaries will enjoy a normal life after being fitted with artificial limbs by Indian technicians, is a project to express the strong friendship existing between India and Vietnam on 50 years of establishment of diplomatic relationship and also 75 years of our independence. The camp was inaugurated, thanks to the generous support of KCP Sugar in Phu Yen Province and Ngon Coffee in Dak Lak Province (both Indian investors)
