To continue fostering business connections between Indian and Vietnamese enterprises, the Indian Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, in collaboration with the Binh Dinh People's Committee, organized the "Business and Tourism Promotion Conference between India - Binh Dinh Province" on June 25, 2024.
The conference saw the participation of 80 businesses from both sides and was a resounding success. Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, highlighted the province's proactive international integration and efforts to attract investment, particularly from Indian partners. He emphasized Binh Dinh's vision to become a center of science and technology, innovation, and AI application in Vietnam. Mr. Dung also pointed out the cultural connections between India and Binh Dinh, which houses the unique Cham towers and numerous artifacts influenced by the Indus civilization. He expressed hope that this conference would encourage Indian investors to explore and invest in Binh Dinh, promising favorable conditions for sustainable development.
The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh People's Committee, and Dr. Madan Mohan Sethi, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City."
