On the evening of September 23th, the show “Kuchipudi - Indian Classical Dance Introductory Performance” was successfully held at the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City.
The show was dedicated to share and celebrate rich and growing cultural ties between Vietnam and India. The show attracted more than 60 Vietnamese and Indian audiences who love Indian culture to enjoy Kuchipudi performances performed by Dr. Lalitha Sindhuri, Professor Assistant at GITAM University.
In the show, Dr. Lalitha performed 5 consecutively repertoires, respectively: Ganesha Pancharatnam, Shankara Srigiri, Hanuman Chalisa, Meera Bhajan, and Marakatha Manimaya. Those repertoires feature her graceful movements, expressive storytelling, elaborate costumes, and impressive facial expression.
