Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan Fellowship for Music

Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan was one of the most celebrated artists of Hindustani classical music. With his exceptional singing abilities and deep understanding of every nuance, Ustad Ji’s presence in the Indian classical music made the cultural world richer, know as the grandeur and torchbearer of the Hindustani classical music.

In his memory, ICCR has initiated a “Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Fellowship for Music” which will be available to foreign musicians/artists/scholars to do research in the field of music. Under this programme, the selected Fellow is affiliated, on the basis of mutual consent, to an academic/cultural institution in India. Fellowships are for eminent musicians/artists/scholars with proven knowledge in the field of music with at least 10 years of practical/research experience and should be above the age of 35 years on the date of application.
