Telephone conversation between PM and H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The two leaders discussed the situation arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic and the steps being taken to address this challenge.
The leaders agreed on the potential for bilateral collaboration in fighting COVID-19, including for facilitating supplies of required medical equipment. They also committed to provide necessary support to each other’s citizens present in their territories.
Both leaders stressed the importance of the Strategic Partnership between India and Vietnam, and expressed satisfaction at the recent progress on various fronts. They also reviewed regional and international developments.
Both leaders agreed that their teams would remain in touch in the coming days, for coordination on the pandemic response measures as well as other aspects of bilateral relations.
Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes for the health and wellbeing of the Vietnamese people during the present crisis.

Thủ tướng Narendra Modi �'ã có cuộc �'iện �'àm với Ngài Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, Thủ tướng nước Cộng hòa Xã hội Chủ nghĩa Việt Nam. Hai nhà lãnh �'ạo �'ã trao �'ổi về diễn biến �'ại dịch COVID-19 và các biện pháp trong việc ứng phó với �'ại dịch.
Hai Thủ tướng nhất trí hợp tác song phương trong việc ứng phó �'ại dịch COVID-19, bao g�"m việc tạo �'iều kiện cung cấp các thiết bị y tế cần thiết. Hai Thủ tướng cũng cam kết quan tâm, hỗ trợ, tạo �'iều kiện �'ể công dân hai nước yên tâm sinh s�'ng và học tập tại nước sở tại.
Hai nhà lãnh �'ạo nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng m�'i quan hệ �'�'i tác chiến lược toàn diện giữa Ấn Độ và Việt Nam, và bày tỏ sự hài lòng với những kết quả �'ã �'ạt �'ược trong thời gian gần �'ây. Hai nhà lãnh �'ạo cũng nhất trí tăng cường ph�'i hợp và hợp tác chặt chẽ tại các diễn �'àn khu vực và qu�'c tế.
Hai nhà lãnh �'ạo nhất trí rằng cán bộ hai nước sẽ giữ liên lạc trong thời gian tới, ph�'i hợp về các biện pháp kiểm soát dịch bệnh, �'�"ng thời phát triển các lĩnh vực hợp tác song phương khác.
